Crafted from a highly figured slab of Spalted Maple, this desk has been etched with an elegant pinstripe of ebony epoxy. Hand-sanded and finished with a protective layer of natural wood oil. Aluminum legs available in Satin Bronze (Shown), Brushed Aluminum, or Black. Well-suited for use as a desk or library table.

Why Redwood Falls? This desk is aptly named for the city of Redwood Falls in Minnesota. Standing on its end, the slab's natural shape approximates the outline of the state of Minnesota. Where Redwood Falls "falls" in its geography is a natural, dark knot from which ribbons of maple (what is known as the "spalted" pattern) emanate outward.
